Cryptogam Illusion (Album)
I could sublimate the infuluence from Egberto Gismonti since 2nd album. This album is a magnum opus for me! If I carry one album to desert island, I waver to choose "Tubular Bells" or this one. However I have been reseted Asturias's work. Because I am satisfied with the result of this album, I felt down about sales. I use three TASCAM-DA88(24ch degital tape recorder), I am satisfied with the mixing too.

Distance
Many peoples seem to be confused this pop color. This is "New Asturias sound" that intended to make electric and acoustic.

Cryptogam Illusion
I made this for promotion video of "Iriomote island". As I was inspired by the mysterious image that pass through the woods, I thought of album title "Cryptogam Illusion". Udai Shika's cello is soulful!

Adolescencia
As I like "Sonatina for basaoon and piano/Tansman(1897-1986)", I'd like to compose music featuring bassoon. Though I'd like to record three members at the same time,
this track is dubbing.

Mistral Island
This track is all programing except shaker I played.

Phoenix
I composed this one in 1988, played at live stage. A middle part express escape from the slump like the phoenix.

Glacier
This tune have exemplary Asturias's sound as "cool&cold".

Cyber Transmission
Though this tune have unusual mechanical feeling as Asturias, I like this. Haruhiko Tsuda's guitar is eccentric and exciting!

Danca Das Borboretas
When I composed basic sequence phrase, many ideas were welling up freely. As this track is up at last, I excited extremely. I was pleased indeed to produce this album. I could find the music which I really wanted to make, by grace of Mike Oldfield and Gismonti. My favorite number!!!

O Tempo Pasa
Mr.Nakamura wrote the lyrics whitch was match with this album. I'd like to have made "Reprise" at ending of the album.
